Angel Festival returns to St. Columba’s
On 17th/18th December St. Columba’s celebrates its second Angel Festival. We have worked together with local artist Lesley Warren who has crafted a heavenly host of large angel figures, made from willow and bamboo, and light enough to fly suspended from fishing wire! We have invited a range of community groups to decorate an angel to share their group’s message for the people of Crosspool at Christmas time: the biblical word angel meands “messenger”. Come and see the angels on Saturday from 10 till 2…if you come at 11, you can enjoy the handbell ringers too. Refreshments are available, and we welcome donations for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which has been a huge support for a local family whose child is a CF sufferer. On Sunday you can view the angels from 3 and join us for our Angel Carol Service at 4. Let the Crosspool angels bring their peace and goodwill to you and your family this Christmas!
