St Columba's Crosspool

Open to God, Welcoming All

Lent Course 2016: the Beacon/St Columba Crosspool

Starring Martin Sheen as a bereaved father, the film observes a group of pilgrims walking the Way of St James to Santiago de Compostela. As it follows their journey of inner transformation, the course examines biblical accounts and images of salvation past, present and future and addresses the questions: What are we saved from? What are we saved for? Who can be saved? What do we have to do to be saved? How are we saved?

You do need to see the film before the start of the course – film showing at St. Columba on Sunday Feb 14th at 5 p.m.

 Three groups available, each running for five weeks from 17th/18th Feb;

Wednesday evenings at the Beacon at Nether Green (7.30 p.m.)

Thursday mornings at the Beacon at Stephen Hill (10.45 a.m.)

Thursday evenings at St. Columba Crosspool (7.30 p.m.)

No need to register – just turn up! All very welcome.
