Spectrum Theatre Review
On Monday 25th June we hosted Spectrum Theatre Company’s play ‘In someone else’s shoes.’ It was a great evening with our church hall full to capacity. The play managed to communicate, inform and educate the audience about many of the anxieties and issues faced by those on the autistic spectrum and their families, whilst being humorous and entertaining at the same time. It was particularly inspiring and moving hearing from members of the cast telling their stories, how they had come to an acceptance and appreciation of who they are, and how they have dealt with and continue to deal with on a daily basis the struggles that autism presents.
