Mental health and older adults: awareness day
Join us for an awareness day on “Supporting People in Later Years” on Saturday, 22nd February from 9.30 – 3.30.
This workshop will be led by members of the chaplaincy team and mental health professionals from the Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. It will be held in St Columba’s Church Hall.
The workshop is free: drinks will be provided, bring your own lunch.
“You are probably already aware of some of the needs of older people. This is a day to think about their emotional and mental health needs, and how local churches and communities and organisations can respond. We don’t have to know it all….. but knowing something will really make a difference.”
To book a place contact Briony Broome on 07801 532 954 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The event is funded by South West Healthy Communities Programme
