BLAST Kids
Blast stands for Believe Learn and Seek Truth for kids.
This is our Sunday group for children from age 4 to 11 years old. We meet every 2nd week of the month during our 10.30 church service, and, when the month has one, every 5th week at the same time. We explore a Bible story, learn a memory verse, play a game, do worship action songs. We always have a snack and craft time, and finish with a prayer. We have lots of fun in our group. We aim to make friends and make a connection with Jesus. We want to learn all about His ways to bring into our daily lives. We would love to see you.
Godly Play
Godly Play is a group that meets once a month on the 3rd Sunday during the main service. This is a group to encounter God and wander into the stories of the Bible and to reflect on your relationship with God. At the heart of Godly play is:
- Creating sacred space
- Building and working in a community
- Bible Stories
- Having time to think big and wonder.
A Godly Play session includes a time to: get ready, tell a story using objects and artefacts, explore the story more with open questions and discussion, create a space to think big, respond with a free choice using a variety of materials – art… silence… play… writing… enjoy a snack and sharing.
