Weddings
We are happy to arrange weddings for anyone in the church or local community.
Baptisms
In baptism – sometimes also known as christening – we welcome children from anywhere in the community into the family of the church and affirm God’s love for them as unique individuals.
Funerals
We have been privileged to be able to serve our community with funeral ministry, and welcome enquiries about a funerals, either to be held at church, crematorium or graveside.
Living with Loss
This group started to meet in July 2019 with the aim of providing ongoing support for bereaved relatives following funerals. However, the invitation is to anyone struggling with any kind of loss, such as loss of job, independence, or relationship, as well as bereavement. The group meets every 6 weeks or so at 45 Selborne Road, Crosspool. There is no agenda, and we eat together and chat. Those attending are a mixture of folk, some who are church members at St Columba’s, some from other churches and some who are not involved in church at all.

It is very diverse & full of life
It's informal and unstructured (sort of!)
There's no pressure to attend
There's no pressure to talk or share experiences
It's not at church - it's in a very welcoming and loved home
There have been a lot of laughs
Facilitators make ourselves available & part of the conversations.
